2013 Bilderberg Group Meeting Guest List and Agenda (Video)
UK media powerhouse BBC describes infamous Bilderberg Group meeting as an annual conference founded in 1954, aimed at fostering dialogue between Europe and North America.
The shadowy private conference of 120 to 150 top politicians and businesspeople is categorized as “private”, and described as an informal, off-the-record forum on major world issues. The conference is strictly closed to the media but protesters from around the globe flock the town to say ‘no’ to the rich and wealthy ‘deciding the planet’s fate over coffee’, according to their protest signs.
This year’s 4 day meeting started yesterday at the five star Grove Hotel, near Watford, in Hertfordshire, UK, amid tight security, including police protection.
In an extremely rare interview in 2005 given to the BBC, Bilderberg’s head Viscount Davignon played down the group’s role in setting the international agenda. He added “It is unavoidable and it doesn’t matter. There will always be people who believe in conspiracies but things happen in a much more incoherent fashion.”
According to a Global Research report in 2009, top figures who are always well represented in these meetings are listed as the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), IMF, World Bank, Trilateral Commission, EU, and powerful central bankers from the Federal Reserve, the European Central Bank (ECB) and Bank of England.
The report emphasizes the powerful and continuous influence of one of the top members, Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), on the USA politics, economy and media. Numerous think tanks, foundations, the major media, and other key organizations are staffed with CFR members. Most of its life-members also belong to the Rockefeller-Founded Trilateral Commission (TC) and operate secretly, and wield enormous power over US and world affairs.
The report also adds, powerful figures in America, Europe, and East Asia let “the rich….safeguard the interests of Western capitalism in an explosive world – probably by discouraging protectionism, nationalism, or any response that would pit the elites of one against the elites of another,” in their common quest for global dominance.
Zbigniew Brzezinski (TC’s co-founder) and a United States National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter from 1977 to 1981 wrote in his book Between Two Ages – America’s Role in the Technetronic Era:
“People, governments and economies of all nations must serve the needs of multinational banks and corporations. (The Constitution is) inadequate….the old framework of international politics, with their sphere of influence….the fiction of sovereignty….is clearly no longer compatible with reality….”
