Not only do we wish to inform, we hope to inspire and motivate our readers into taking a more active role in our politics and society at large.
Our mission is to become the leading independent collaborative media agency in the USA. We aim to present and widely distribute, fact and evidence based news and information to our readers, in a timely manner, through all available social media.
We are a Web-based organization not affiliated with any of the USA media conglomerates. Our team includes independent and international journalists, ordinary people from around the country and around the world, grassroots leaders and peace activists, artists, academics and independent analysts.
We believe the independent media play a vital role in keeping the public informed and maintaining democratic processes. The Progressive Press portal combines original investigative reporting, major breaking news, smart analysis from progressive voices, arts, science and more. Our main focus is on all social justice matters, environment, economic equality, civil liberties and politics.
